Westpac PaymentsPlus user security upgrade

In July 2021, PaymentsPlus will upgrade the sign-in and reset password processes. You will be required to confirm your email address, and optionally your mobile phone number when you next sign in.

Signing-in to PaymentsPlus

PaymentsPlus will ask you to confirm your email address and mobile phone number when you first sign in. PaymentsPlus will also ask you to change your security questions and answers.

This is being done to improve the security of your sign-in for PaymentsPlus.

The sign-in page will look slightly different on this date too:

Step 1 - Confirming your email address

PaymentsPlus will ask you to confirm your email address.

  1. You will receive an email to the account displayed on the page.

  2. Find the email. It will have the subject “PaymentsPlus verification code”.

  3. Enter the code from the email into the "Email verification code" field and click Next.

If you did not receive the email, first check that the displayed email address matches your email account and click the "Resend email verification code" link. Remember to check your junk and spam folders if you do not see it in your email inbox.

Step 2 - Confirming your mobile phone number (optional)

PaymentsPlus will ask you to confirm your mobile phone number. This step is optional.

  2. You will receive an SMS with a verification code.

  3. Enter the verification code to confirm your mobile phone number and click Next.

To skip this step, click the link "I don't want to register a mobile number".

If you did not receive your SMS within a few minutes, confirm your mobile phone number is correct and then click the "Resend SMS verification code" link.
